Born September 21, 1947 in Coetquidan (Morbihan), Evelyne Brisou-Pellen completed her primary studies in Meknes (Morocco), then in Rennes, where she lives today. After having passed a Bac option philosophy, she undertook studies of Modern Letters and obtained her Masters, before starting to write. She who, as a child, dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, she enters into the subject of her books a bit like an explorer.
Thus, notably with Prisonnière des Mongols (which earned her the Grand Prix du Livre pour la Jeunesse), Deux ombres sur le pont, she discovered Asian countries. Married in 1969, she has two children.
